Our 2024/25 Annual Review gives an update on our projects and activities from the year, working together with our partners and members. Find out what we’ve been up to and how you can get more involved.
Some highlights from this last year include:
- Welcomed nearly 200 people to our 2024 Gathering to reflect on the progress made since Bristol’s 2018 climate emergency declaration.
- Delivered an ‘introduction to community energy’ workshop series for community organisations as part of Mission Net Zero.
- Shared a suite of resources from our Community Climate & Nature Action Project to help inform and inspire this approach in other areas.
- £1.5million additional funding secured by our community partners towards local climate and nature action and a Community Climate Action Prospectus developed to help secure further investment.
- Continued to grow our Climate Action Programme supporting businesses to reduce their emissions through events and resources on topics such as scope 3, building resilience and supplier engagement.
- Developed a new Getting Started programme to guide organisations at the start of their climate action journey.
- 1,512 attendees at our events and workshops.
“Bristol Climate & Nature Partnership is about collaborative, local action that puts people at its heart, and this has never been more important. While national debates can divide, we continue to unite communities, businesses, and the public sector to cut emissions, restore nature, increase resilience, and build a fairer, healthier city.”
Mohammed Saddiq, Chair of the Board of Directors
This year we are continuing to build upon our work including further collaboration across the region, enabling agency at the local level, sharing best practice, and holding equity as a guiding principle.
“I’d like to thank our staff team, chair, directors, funders, collaborators, and supporting members for their brilliant contributions last year. Our work – as always – wouldn’t be possible without them. We know a greener, healthier Bristol is possible – and to build it, we need to work together. So please get in touch if you can support our work or would like to get more involved.”
Lizzi Testani, CEO
